Updates, Updates

So we're gonna try this again... This has been an interesting week! Tuesday I took Molly into the doctor for her 2 mo. checkup. She is doing great! She is 10 and 1/2 lbs and 22 inches. She is in the 50% for her height and 40% for her weight. I was really weirded out with those numbers! Emma has always been in the 95% for her height and the 25% for her weight. We actually have a normal sized baby! Weird! That night she had a really rough time though. Her poor little legs were so swollen and sore! We ended up putting ice packs on them. Then she was finally able to sleep. We were also able to go see the new house! It's looking so good! I'm getting more and more excited! It's looking so good and it's so much larger than what we are in now. We have plenty of junk, but I think we might have to get some more furniture. It's gonna took pretty bare! Wednesday Mom called and Grandpa Michaelson wasn't doing very well. I guess he just had a hip replaced. He was doing well and then ended up getting pneumonia and there wasn't much the doctors could do. He passed away on Friday. Thursday was Aaron and my 5th wedding anniversary! We ordered pizza as is our custom. Emma was tired and fell asleep on the couch. She woke up and wasn't feeling well so while I was getting ready for bed, she went in on our bed with Molly and Daddy and threw up all over it! She spent the night in bed with us and was warm but was fine for the rest of the night. Friday however she was so hot and just wanted to sleep. I wasn't feeling very good either, (a bad cold) so Molly and I laid down and turned on a movie for Emma. She usually kind of watches and plays at the same time. Instead she came in and crawled up in my arms and slept. Once the movie ended she woke up and wanted to start it again. So we did and she came back into my room and fell asleep again. When she woke up she was so hot! I took her temp and it was 101.5 degrees. I started to freak out! She was so lethargic. We took her into the doctor and she has a really bad ear infection. She is doing good now. Thank heavens when this was going on Molly slept through it! But she also has a cold so none of us are feeling very well. Friday night, as she had slept all day, Molly was awake every hour. It was a long night! But we are all doing okay, not great, but better now. Grandpa's funeral is on Tuesday in Idaho, but we won't be going. I hope all the family that is going is able to get there safely!

Slacker...

Okay so already I'm a slacker! But this is what is going on with our family. The other night Emma fell off the couch and landed funny. She ended up knocking herself out for a few seconds. She is fine, but it was scary!!! She was making funny noises, but came right out of it and was soon as busy as ever! She did however spend the night with us! I'm just so grateful she was okay!!!!! Both my mom and Bridget (Aaron's sister) asked if we called Aaron's mom as she is a nurse. We didn't. I didn't even think about it! Tells ya what I was thinking! Apparently I wasn't! But her eyes were still dilating fine so we figured she was good. She did have some rug burns on the side of her face from the carpet which are almost gone now.

Aaron also had a review at work (ND) today. It went well he said and that his boss said he has improved since last year so all is good. Well, that's about it for us!

New Family Blog

Well, here goes nothing...I guess we are gonna try blogging. It's new to me so hopefully it will end up being fun and enjoyed by all! I never thought I would do this because I guess I think my life is boring but I get asked all the time if we have one so now I can say yes. Plus I enjoy everyone else's so now they have another to read too.
